Beth’s desire to create a low maintenance, natural landscape design within this high elevation mountain setting included a collaborative team effort with owners, architect, builder, pond and stream company, and landscape contractor.
Inspired by the architecture, building materials and the mountain setting, Beth utilized the grade changes, and created a sense of place, designing a natural landscape through the use of moss rock retaining boulders, stone treads for pedestrian traffic and stone patios. A weeping wall was created for soothing sounds walking through the stone retaining.
