Project Description

This project had all the beautiful traits held within a river bottom: beautiful textures of willow and Aspen, as well as the wildlife they hold. The homeowners wanted a vegetable garden large enough to incorporate planting areas for cut flowers for the home, and a greenhouse to grow vegetable seedlings.

For this formal vegetable garden, I designed a custom fence, incorporated raised cedar planters, set on the stone to provide adequate height for gardening without bending over to sow or harvest, as well as a cutting garden. The tall fence allowed for the planting of specialty roses, and other “sweets” the deer, elk, and moose would enjoy.
